In my mind, a birthday can be like your own personal New Year! You are turning older and starting a new year in your life. You can make new choices and use it as a point to turn around.

As I turn 26, a few of my goals are:

  1. Exercise regularly. (Don't we all make this resolution a few times a year?)
  2. Take vitamins.
  3. Remember that 26 isn't as old as it seems. 
  4. Wear what I want. People's opinions only count for so much. (Besides, isn't 26 practically old and batty? Oh, right, see number 3.)
  5. Believe that there is still time to accomplish great things. It's easy to get bogged down when I realize what people younger than me have accomplished.  *Just keep swimming*
So come on, 26! Let's make this a good year!
