Happy Halloween! Happy 31st day of this blogging challenge! I've made it! Not without a couple of bumps in the blogging road, but still. I'm happy about it! Tonight is family tradition. Mom makes chili and we grab $0.50 corn dogs from Sonic. Simple, but I love it.  Watched random shows with my family and Paige. It's Wednesday! October 30! Day 30 of this blogging series...in which I've forgotten three times to hit "publish" on the day I was supposed to! Luckily, my sweet momma always reminds me!  ;) Y'all. I typed that this morning. My mom just had to text and remind me again!!!!! Today what made me happy was: -Dinner at Majestic Burger with Jordan and co.  -Halloweentown with Paige and Jordan.  Hope you have a good day! Happy almost Halloween!!

I can't believe it's October 29. I can't believe how my adult years pass 100 times faster than my childhood years. Slow down, time!!!!! My mom had to remind me again...that I didn't post on the exact day. Whoops. 

Monday always arrives so quickly. Too quickly, it often seems. When I wish for the weekends, I'm doing nothing more than wishing my weeks away. Then I complain when time flies by. Makes all the sense in the world, right? This is a busy week. Stuff is on my calendar for every night. However, it's all things I've elected to do. It's all fun and of my choosing. Today's been a quiet Sunday. We went to the late church service and had a preschool training session.  Family time with coffee, pie, and ice cream. Nap with my sister.  Small group with amazing friends.  And today's the birthday of one of the best girls in my life: Jess Followell!!! Also, finding out that one person you know has started to care about something that you care about so deeply is amazing. Happy Friday, y'all! We made it to the end of another week. {side note: I've gotta stop living for the weekends. It makes me waste time/makes time flyyyyy by.} I'm excited that it's cool out. I'm finally wearing the bunny sweater I bought in August! I paired it with a maxi skirt I got at Target back in May. Basically, Target is my go to shopping spot. We have a love/love relationship. (Well, until I realize I'm about to spend our rent money and tantrum like a toddler...) My sweet husband stayed up until 1:00 a.m. with me watching Blackfish on CNN. I would really love for you to check it out. It's so thought provoking - decision provoking, even. Our family won't be one that attends Sea World. However, now it's a goal to see whales out in the wild.  Any fun weekend plans? I'm excited to kick off my weekend watching Vampire Diaries and the Originals with Paige and Karson! Happy Thursday, friends! I do hope you've had a nice day.  Mine was fine. I quite like Thursdays, but this one wasn't the same routine as usual. Tonight, I went to see one of my favorite Premier Designs jewelry ladies (Aimee!) do a party for my friend Laura M!  Got some quality talk/singing time in with Paige.  Made soup for the work party tomorrow! Yes. Me. From a recipe. Yay! Now I'm on the couch to catch the encore of Blackfish on CNN with Jordan. This is something so important to my heart.  Sweet dreams, Love, Jessica @jesstinybird

Today's happy because last night's party was such a hit! After the Season 4 summer finale of Pretty Little Liars, I knew I wanted to have a get together for the Halloween episode and Ravenswood premier! Here's how it went! I drew and colored red coats to be markers for our food! Also, our food items were themed after the main characters. We had: -pretty little popcorn -Ali's cookies -Emily's edamame -Spencer's spinach dip -Caleb's crackers -Hanna's hot chocolate -Toby's tea -Aria's apples -Paige's pumpkin dip -we need S'more info about Ezra Fitz cups Ali's cookies were easy and super yummy! Pretty Little Popcorn: popcorn, Nutella, and various sprinkles! Luckily, Target's Halloween section had the perfect plates and napkins for the Ravenswood premier! As far as decor, I got these great raven wall clings from Target and wrote a typical letter-from-Ali note on the mirror! And maybe there was a little pre-party-pumpkin-painting.... Th

How was your weekend? Seriously. Was it restful? Exciting? Just what you needed? And how about your Monday? My work day seemed long. My evening seemed packed with things to do. Now I'm on the couch, in the wolf blanket, waiting on my husband to get home from work.  Leaving work early tomorrow: Allegiant is released, as is Katy Perry's newest album. Things making me happy today: -that my sister read Divergent in 24 hours and is starting Insurgent this weekend! Also, this picture I found on a tumblr page last night: -It's Thursday! That's basically pre-weekend! I got dinner and couch time with Paige and Karson for Vampire Diaries and the Originals. So thankful for that time to just relax and hang out! I know my #31days hasn't been super deep or even super substantial, but I'm glad and proud I've managed to blog something every day of the month so far! Today's gray and rainy. I want to be home reading and napping and movie watching. I'm always that way on gray days. (Also, I always struggle with whether to use gray or grey!)                      ---------- Y'all. What made you happy today, friend? Really, like deep-down-in-your-heart happy? When one of my bffs encourages me and dreams with me - it makes me over-the-moon happy. So thankful for that today. As mentioned in a previous post, favorite things fire me up! I love when people share their favorite things. Beyond that, I love when people get fired up about other people's favorite things!  All of that to say, I'm HAPPY that's it's Kasia's favorite day! Slept in. Made chocolate chip pancakes. Went over to see my mom and sister. Caught up on our show, Cedar Cove. Had Izzo's for dinner with Jordan. Got my rings cleaned and made more sparkly. Happy Friday, friends!  Random happy-maker of the day (so far):  seeing a guy in bright magenta pants and a purple shirt walking as I drove back to work on lunch. Seriously the second time I've been driving downtown and wished I was a street style photog.  Another happy? My friend Aaron has his one wisdom tooth extracted today. Afterwards, he insisted to Laura Bee (his wife/my bff) that he "had to talk to Jessica"!!! It was one of the most memorable phone calls of my life. Hahahahaha. GOOD LUCK! Finally, my Friday ended with me and my mister spending some time with two of our favorite girls: Jess and meg Followell! I love them and am so thankful that God has given us a friendship that includes nights-in. That girl gets my heart, y'all.  Night friends. I'm happy that it's pre-weekend. I'm happy that my evening includes my best blondes and our favorite vampires.  We ate dinner at Newk's. We sat outside because the weather was nice.  Things that made me happy today: lunch and dinner with Karson; dinner with both Karson and Paige; Vampire Diaries and the Originals - both action packed episodes - with K, P, and Lauren.  Also, I'm happy I don't watch Glee. I would probably cry myself into dehydration.  I'm mostly happy that it's almost the weekend. So ready for rest.  Love, Jessica @jesstinybird

Wednesday, October 9 is here! It's my friend Laura's birthday! We're going to the Fair tonight to celebrate, and I'm excited about it. (So excited, in fact, that this won't be posted until after we go! Then I'll have pictures and stories!) I didn't ride anything. I'm not much of a rider. However, I love the Ferris wheel! I think it's beautiful! I ate a Pronto Pup and munched on Paige's nachos! Also, P got fried cookie dough on a stick. It. Was. Awesome. Then I realized I didn't particularly like being in crowds of aimless fair-goers.  The petting zoo is basically the highlight of the fair to me....at least until I get sad and want to release the animals.  Starting in about 2005, I met a Zebu and fell in love!
