4th of July Weekend Recap
(Please look at the super cute wreath my mom made!)
Welcome, sweet friends! I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. I certainly did! It wasn't our typical 4th of July. It's the first summer without a pool at my parents' house. Due to sicknesses and schedules, we had a much smaller lunch crowd than usual. However, it was wonderful. Family time. Super laid back. Lots of tv, volleyball, and laughing with my sister. It was a refreshing weekend!
(Mom made this festive Oreo, pretzel, M&M bark! So yum!)
Sometimes, I waste my Saturdays. I sit at home and don't do anything. I'm so glad mom invited my for a girls' day to the Farmer's Market to get my tush in gear! Nicole, mom, and I set out on our fun afternoon!
The colors at the market were brilliant and amazing. Here are several snaps from our outing!
After the Farmer's Market, we ventured to the downtown library! They had a couple of books I have been eager to read, and I always love a good library visit.
We went to Rooster's for lunch, and I'm so glad we did! It's one of my favorite places to eat! If you're ever in Jackson, be sure to check it out.
On the way home from lunch, the air conditioner in my mom's car went out. All of a sudden. In July. In the mid-afternoon. In Mississippi. I'd say we made the best out of it!
How was your weekend? I'd love to hear!
Love,
Jessica
