Saturday, we ate at Panda Express for the second time (so far) in 2015. Y'all, I've never been a super huge Chinese food fan, but their Orange Chicken is the bomb dot com. I won't even start harping on how perfectly crispy and delish the spring rolls are. Trust me.
I got to spend some quality time with Jess on Saturday. And, I finally got to have some time with Eden, the newest Followell. Hearts in my eyes, for sure. Glad Meg came home from her day out before I left, too.
Sunday afternoon, Jordan, Cat, and I went to see Selma. I can't accurately convey in words how much this movie means to my heart, y'all. Seriously. I had to ugly cry way into the credits. It's just so much more than a movie. There's still so much work to be done.
Then, Jordan and I got home to watch the Golden Globes, and *spoiler alert* Glory (the song from Selma) won best song. Totally deserved. Common and John Legend gave the best speech. I immediately downloaded the song on iTunes. It gives me chills and moves my heart over and over again.
Today has been a gloomy, rainy, hardly-productive-due-to-life-having-a-Monday, Monday. No worries though. It seems Farmer Chris may be the Bachelor that has me addicted after one episode. Going to watch and laugh with a gaggle of girlfriends tonight.
How was your weekend?
