Blog-tember Day 15 // Adventure Time
What is the craziest adventure you've ever been on?
Let's be real. Your girl is not the adventure seeking type. I don't have a need for speed or crave a thrill. There isn't a spontaneous bone in my body. This prompt was hard for me - hahaha. Sad, right? I know.
The first thing that came to mind was my bachelorette weekend! We went to Memphis. After dinner, knowing wrestling was in town, my best girls and I set out (in heels) to see if we could see my favorite wrestler! (Thanks, girls!)
We ended up in the fence of an apartment building, with strangers offering us champagne, trying to catch a glimpse of the outdoor wrestling action.
We missed Jeff Hardy. (I met him on my 26th birthday a couple of months earlier and thought it would be great to also get a photo together on my bachelorette weekend!)
BUT.
We met Devon Dudley.
No big deal, right? WRONG. I'd watched the Hardyz/Dudleys feud for years! And I was meeting one of my favorite wrestlers IN REAL LIFE!
Doesn't count as an adventure, you say?
What about the fact that we became real life friends? Hmm. Yes. REAL LIFE FRIENDS WITH ONE OF MY FAVORITES EVER. #thankful.
Maybe I'll learn to live a little.
Or maybe I'll play it safe and still make friends.
Either way, I'm thankful.
