What's the deal with my tv?! (Part Two)

Back in 2013, I wrote Part One of what will now be a series. Why? Because I love my stories, and I have a real knack for picking shows that are cancelled too soon. :)

In fact, before you read any further, please go back and check out Part One! Why? Because all the shows are worth watching, if you can find them streaming.

The Village reminded me of A Million Little Things meets Rent. I love both This is Us and A Million Little Things, and this show definitely gave me the same feels. It's about a hodge-podge group of people who live in the same apartment building and form an unlikely, motley crew of a family. The final episode left me with so many questions and so much hope for a renewal. I was honestly shocked that this show didn't do as well as the other two shows I mentioned. If you didn't see this one, you totally missed out. There were only 10 episodes. Sadly, I don't see that it is streaming anywhere.

Whiskey Cavalier was one I was sure I would like. The cast was excellent together, and the drama and excitement never stopped. Crime fighting, bad guys, and of course, romantic tension! There were 13 episodes. I wasn't able to find this one streaming.

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists was likely made just for me. PLL was my favorite show, and I was so sad when it ended, albeit wonderfully and with closure. They had one spin-off, Ravenswood, which I liked and watched, but it was a little spooky. I really love Sara Shepard, author of PLL. She wrote another set of books called The Perfectionists and The Good Girls. I LOVED THEM! Freeform combined PLL with The Perfectionists, and I loved it. I'm sad it ended before I got to see the whole story play out on screen. There were only 10 episodes, and you can stream them now on the Freeform app.

Life Sentence was a spectacular story!!!! I have naturally loved Lucy Hale since PLL, and I was so happy she was back on my television. Also, everyone in the cast was perfect for their roles. The family dynamics shown were so relatable and humorous. There were 13 episodes, and you can currently watch them on Netflix!!

Take Two was one I knew I would watch! Rachel Bilson. Eddie Cibrian. HELLO?! Definitely. When a real P.I. teams up with an actress who played one on tv, they always solve the crime! This one was so cute! There were 13 episodes.

Two more that I should give honorable mentions to cancelled a few years ago, but both were so fun and may require a re-watch on my part!  The Carrie Diaries is available to stream on the CW Seed app for free! And you can watch Jane By Design on the Freeform app!

AnnaSophia Robb and Lindsey Gort in The Carrie Diaries (2013)   Jane by Design (2012)

What are some shows you've watched and loved that ended too soon? Let me know!

Love,
Jessica
